Why don't they just lie about the numbers?
by Sour Grapes inwhy doesn't the wtbts just lie and increase the published amount of people who attend the memorial?
who would know the difference?
the same with the amount munching on the crackers and sipping the wine.

I wonder if the Governing Body even reads their own numbers. Someone below them must be mindlessly cranking them out without a second thought. -

What is their official explanation for not allowing beards?
by keyser soze ini ask because my gf, who knows all about my jw upbringing, convinced me to grow a goatee, just to see how it looks.
we both decided it looked good so i decided to keep it.
i tried to explain to her that as a jw, i wasn't allowed to grow one, but then drew a blank when she asked me why.

I recall an elder telling me that the reason behind the beard ban was that they wanted to respect community standards. I responded by bringing out that there were male models with beards in a Sears catalogue that I had. -

Jw kids setting off fire alarms in hotels
by purrpurr ina friend of mine is staying at a hotel next to one of the big convention sites this weekend.
yesterday she tells me one of the hotels had to be evacuated and the fire brigade called when the fire alarm went off.. it turned out to be a bunch of jw kids having a prank.
she had been speaking to the hotel manager who told her that this happens every year and only when the jw's come to stay!.

They should have let her wear that miniskirt and then put a fan pointing in her direction.

I must have missed the video of Monty Baker. Was his testimony favorable to the Watchtower? -

Forgot to link the company that made those bikes:
Trailmate for the Lowrider. The engine is sold separately by Honda and needs to be attached by someone with handy skills.
Sunbicycles. Look under recumbents X3 AX Trike. You might be able to find an electric motor designed for this bike. The noise from my 4 cycle Honda is a little too much for some people. It might also not be noticed as a motorized bike.

This is my form of transportation. With an electric motor it would be able to partially substitute for some automobile driving. My two trikes handle like a car instead of a bicycle. That comes in handy for safe riding.
The one I have above has a Honda 4 cycle gas engine and does 25 mph with 70 mpg gas mileage. It's similar to this one:
And the one below is my other trike.

You misspelled a word in the URL. It's sized instead of sed.
I don't think that some people will be able to balance themselves on that thing especially if they're older. I also think that the wheels don't have enough clearance from the ground.

Clicking on your link gives me an error 404 message. You misspelled a word in the URL/title. It's "sized" instead of "sed".
And the video:

Frankly I believe that it's just another pricey gimmick like the Segway which came and went.
